Who is TheScottishAlien? My name is Lloyd Richards and I'm a student at the University of Calgary trying to become an Architect. That said, I'm also a pretty hardcore geek who lives for video games and the internet. This website is partly so that I can practice webdesign as well as a chance to advertise myself and my work to the internet at large.
While the the name TheScottishAlien doesn't seem to make sense at first since I live in Canada, I assure you it had reasoning. Most of childhood was spent in one part of the world or another however Scotland was where the majority was spent. When I moved to canada my friends and I would joke that I was an illegal alien or "IllegalScottishAlien". However once I got Canadian citizenship this joke didn't really make sense so I changed it to TheScottishAlien.
I've been using this pseudonym for over 6 years now for everything including gamer tags, forum accounts, artistic signature etc. At the moment I'd say that TheScottishAlien is a major part of my personality, bridging the gab between my more proffesional side and my hardcore geek side.

The website is now up and running. I've added an RSS Feed to the bottom as well as a badge for my facebook account but still need to find something to go in the third space. The links are also broken to my portfolio and contact pages however I should have those up and running in the next week or so.
Might do some minor adjustments to the background bit other then that the style is pretty much how I want it to look.
